Kids' and Poors' Eyes International

In countries of the Third World, where 1 ophthalmologist has to provide about 1 million people (in Germany 1: 15,000), the visually impaired can usually not be covered and treated. Here, our ophthalmological assistance is to be put to good use on the spot. The worn spectacle frames, eye drops and donation funds are to ensure the success of this assistance. We have so far had very good experiences in Sri Lanka (March 1998), Northern Vietnam (March 1999), Togo (March 2000), Nicaragua (March 2001), Nepal (October 2001), Philippines (March 2002), Paraguay , Cambodia (March 2004), Philippines (March 2005), El Salvador (March 2006), Thailand (March 2007), Namibia (June 2008 and September 2009), Mali (2010 and 2012), Namibia (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015) and Tanzania 2016.
