Ghana Systems for Health

Under this Subagreement, the Subrecipient shall contribute to the overall achievement of the Systems for Health Program in Ghana by providing leadership and technical expertise to enhance community mobilization in the context of CHPS implementation and scale-up; foster gender integration across the Systems for Health portfolio; engender community- facility linkages, including public-private partnerships; and integrate demand generation for MNCH, FPIRH, malaria, nutrition and WASH health-seeking behaviors within community mobilization efforts. Plan shall support the implementation of the project by performing the following tasks: • Providing technical support to project start up activities, including work plan development, budgeting, and recruitment I orientation of seconded staff • Assessment, strategic planning and sensitization for CHPS expansion in target districts • Promoting community ownership and accountability for planning, implementing and monitoring of CHPS minimum package of services • Implementing community-led models for quality improvement of primary health care services • Designing and supporting implementation of interventions at the community-level to increase demand and appropriate health-seeking behaviors for MNCH, FPIRH, malaria, nutrition and WASH • Support gender analyses, tool development or selection and training to develop, implement and monitor activities to recruit and capacitate women, men and boys to champion gender transformative interventions in MNCH, FPIRH, malaria, nutrition and WASH in targeted sub-districts, CHPS zones and communities.
