Building Resilience in the Dry corridor of Western Honduras

This project seeks to build community resilience to drought in 3 municipalities in the department of Lempira, in Western Honduras. Its aim is to install 7 water collection systems in public spaces such as school and health centers, as well as 36 garden filters to assist with irrigation. It will also provide seeds and technical capacity support for backyard garden cultivation. In addition, it will help strengthen the capacities of 16 local emergency committees.
